When did the family immigrate from Ireland?
If the 1861 census is anything to go by:
Martin was aged 7 and born in Ireland, so they were in Ireland in 1861
Jane was aged 2 and born in Liverpool, so they were in Liverpool by 1869.
They immigrated between 1861 and 1879.

03/04/1881 - Living at Fernie Street?
Although she is apparently married at this point, there is a large similarity of names within the family to the names that she gives her own children. Therefore I believe this is the correct connection.

This puts Bridget at the right age but she is not with her husband or using her married name???

1911 census suggests she had been married for 15 years, which would have made them 30 when they got married - check 1896. but this must be an error because we have the marriage cert. that shows that she was married to a William Coyne for 15 years.

Theories
1) Bridget and James married young and were both forced to go back and live with their parents. Their son Thomas was cared for by another family member. This would mean that Bridget was living at 4 Fernie Street under the maiden name, James was living at 69 Pitt Street and their son Thomas was living at Penrhyn Street.
