1941 - Liverpool was being bombed
Eileen had baby Michael and christened him herself as the city was being bombed. Michael's first cot was a drawer to offer protection from the raid.
lived at 22 Greenheys Road, Wallasey
This picture was taken in 2014 (when the house was considerably more run down than it had ever been when Eileen lived there. She always kept the property well looked after.
died in 2001 in Marlowe Road, Wallasey
NOTE: The top attic room was where all the cousins used to play at family get togethers. We formed bonds and friendships that would last well into adulthood and continued to have infamous 'cousin nights' well into the late 90s, when first Colette emigrated to Japan followed by Annmarie to New Zealand.
